Old Biscuit. Thanks for your reply. My rig weighs 12,500 dry weight. It does not have the rear cap on it. Have a Merry Christmas. Truck is a long bed.

12,500 Dry weight is empty weight as delivered from factory

Add in propane, water, your stuff etc.....1500#
14K

What year is your 2500?
Truck RAWR?
Cat Scales.....actual weight?

is your 2500 a crew cab long bed? My Durango weighs in about 9875 (10,500 GVWR) when loaded and any more would be over the capacity of my 2015 2500 4x4 cc long bed. check your door sticker (the yellow one) and go to a scale

You will be AT or possibly over that Axle rating towing that 5th wheel

Should get it weighed 'camp ready' so you have actual weight numbers

2 weigh tickets
First one truck/trailer combo
Then go drop 5vr in parking lot and do reweigh truck only
1st $10/$15
2nd weigh ---some are free some a few dollars
Worth the info......

Difference of weights will show ACTUAL weight being carried by Trucks rear axle/tires, weight being carried by 5vr axle/tires, trucks weight vs GVWR, truck/trailer vs GCVWR etc



****I tow heavy. Have 2007 3500 SRW with a 6200# RAWR
I tow 14K 5th wheel (13,873# Scaled weight)
Wet pin of 5rv is 3080#....I am right at trucks RAWR

So I am NOT being a 'weight police' just passing on info ----anyone towing should know Actual weight numbers and decide for themselves if numbers are OK or not

We have a 2016 Winnebago Destination 36RL being towed by a 2017 crew cab F350 DRW with the 6.7 diesel.
