IF the alum. framing has broken then it would allow the floor decking to sag or feel spongy.
First thing is discontinue stepping on it.
Second thing is to look under the area which may be in your basement storage compartment for any damage to the alum. framing ... it may be visible from that vantage point.
Third is to take into the dealer and have him investigate it. I'm sure there is a cause and you have found the effect.
My niece had this happen in the kitchen area, they found out the fresh water tank had pulled the alum. framing down and thus the floor was spongy in that area. In your case it may not have anything to do with a water tank, but rather just be a case of re-installing/securing the alum. frame under the flooring.
Hope this helps.

Good advice.
I'd tend to think you might be able to see under that area in the basement?
We've not experienced any soft, loose, or creaking floors anywhere.
In addition to the dealer don't overlook the factory service folks as well as your regional product manager(s). We've found them responsive in coordinating issues.
Do you frequent the Suites owners forum also?
Best of luck.
