C-mon man!?!?! Take your new camper, and drive 3" screws into it to hold the wall in place!?! Does not even pass the sniff test! Can you provide a picture of the wall separation?

ID:	164318.......Had the same problem....found broken screws and want a be welds on the staircase frame....after removing steps and risers, was able to cut the busted screws off and that allowed the wall to relax and retake its normal position........rebuilt staircase, added lights ( they are on a dimmer), carpet tile and aluminum edging....winter project while wintering in desert...in this pic, the aluminum edging was still in the mail, and when installed, sorta hid the lights....

Bob,
You really should change your name to Bob the Builder! I need to find a "you" close to me. So he can do stuff to mine. I am not handy like that at all. I mounted TV's, and took pictures, so I could brag about how handy I am!

Yeah. That's a couple hours away. Next time you go see your friends, stop in and install a motorized flag pole on my rig. lol

Call the MFG and have them hook you up with an independent authorized repair shop.
This is on Forest River period.

Saw this post while searching for a rear wall separation issue.

I have 2018 360IBL, same issues although I have not seen any broken screws yet. Seems my screws are loose...come to think of it maybe they are broken.

I have the same chaparral and had the same thing happen
I loosened the existing screws in the cargo bay frame.
Added 5 more 3" tek screws plus re tightened the existing screws.
It came back together within 1/8"
I put a couple extra teks in the other side of the trailer at the cargo bay also.
Have put on 4000 mile since and have had no problems

Thanks for responding. I took a look at this yesterday. There are 3-4 screws that are loose just above the door-side basement/cargo door where the aluminum frame meets the wall. I confirmed the screws are not broken. When I push the wall into the frame it barely budges. I cant see how the 3” screws will pull it tight to the frame. Obviously it must work since you did it.

While in the basement, I wanted to add more rigidity to the landing area (hallway in front of the bathroom). I installed a vertical support 2x2 that mounts into the basement floor (bottom) and connects to the aluminum frame above. I drove screws through it into the wall hoping to pull the wall in but it didn’t budge.

BTW, i did take it to a shop in Shipshewana a couple weeks ago and the guy said to do the same thing you did…add more screws. I will just need to get a few big buddies to push on the wall when I install the additional s crews in new locations.

FYI, the screws on the other side (street side) that connect the frame to the wall are solid tight.
