What part of it? Looks right to me, the 14K doesn't include what you are towing except the pin or hitch weight.

I looked at your picture and this looks like a 4X4 truck, correct?

So, according to the Ram Boby Builders site for the Ram trucks this is correct. Front Gross axle weight would be 6,000 lbs, Rear Gross Axle weight would be 9750 lbs, depending on engine HO Diesel, transmission and axle gearing your GCWR could be either 41,600 lbs or 45,000 lbs. You may have to subtract some of the GCWR for the attachments added to the truck.

They real numbers and agree with SAE J2807 Towing Requirements. Just because you don't believe them doesn't make them incorrect. Modern trucks have come a long way in design and operation.

I don’t know why you think they are a joke . Unlike trailer manufacturers makers of trucks have to have the rating correct or they could end up in serious legal trouble with the feds .

Are you referring to the 65 psi tire inflation? If all four rear tires were inflated to 80 psi, they would have a capacity 11,340# or so, the 65 psi is what is needed to support 9,750#.

Will to define the Ram truck more to justify the rated numbers for a Gross Combined Vehicle Rating. The truck has 6.7L Cummins HO engine which means that the engine is capable of 420HP and 1,075 lb.-ft of Torque. Along with a 6sp AISIN transmission which is medium duty truck transmission along with 4:10 differential gearing in the axles. The frames are rated for 50,000psi and hydroformed.

So yes, these numbers are correct, and they are not your grandfather trucks anymore.
