Disk brakes look awesome! One of these days.......

Still not sure why your flipped and mine didn't. I jacked ours up on one side and placed blocks of RR ties for support. Had both wheels off the ground. I started at the front and replaced 1 bolt and then shackle at a time. I used a screw jack under the brake drum to stabilize and align.

I just installed disc brakes on my Cedar Creek. A question, my Cedar Creek came from the factory with the the wet bolts installed, 8 zerks per side. I wonder why my Cedar Creek came with 6 per side. I'm going by the factory this month I think I'll ask them

Looking at ours there are 7 zerks/side. Three on each spring(2 on each shackle and one on the bolt) and one on the MORryde. Could it be that CC reversed one and you can't see it without crawling under?

One side off the ground may not reverse the shackles as the other side wheels are still on the ground, possibly holding everything in place. Maybe

No I have crawled under camper and looked, there is only six. The bolt at each end of the spring does not have a zerk fitting. I never noticed until the installer was installing the disc brakes.

Weeeeeellll at least it's the easiest one to install. Etrailer have individual bolts as well as bronze or the new Lippert Never Fail bushings. Interesting as those outer end bushings, the original nylon as well as the bronze bushings were the most worn, 4-5K on the OEM, 13-15K on the bronze.

Makes me wonder if CC did a cheapy install and use the 'standard' thin shackles instead of the MORryde/Dexter thick replacement pieces.

I don't recall mentioning it, but I cross drilled the new shackles so there are two grease exit points, one one either side, so there will be a beter distribution. If you are concerned, the strength loss for a through .089 (#43 drill bit) is so minor as to be unnoticeable. The grease flows so much easier

Confirmed - 2 correctly facing (up) on one side, the other side stays the same. I did have to 'horse' one shackle back to start then the others fell in line. Of course if you have sloppy/weak suspension, all bets are off
