5th wheel auto-connect electrical system

rvupgradestore.com has this item. Sure wish I'd known about it when we traveled with a 5er.

Well ....

That bracket and plug connection attached to hitch.
Just something sticking up in the air to get snagged on when in bed of truck. And it interferes with any bed cover/top

When not hitched up nothing sticks above bed rail on my truck

Bracket on king pin.......
That is where I have my large 'level' which I use to check side to side levelness of site as I pull in /back in
Bracket/connection interferes with seeing that level

Plus bracket/rotating connection just sticking out there where it can get snagged/damaged

Again..........No Thanks!

Just another RV product looking to fix a non-issue.
Falls in the aftermarket not needed category like 'slide out jacks, anode rods for Atwood water heaters and N2 in tires'
