Dealer should have at least one 12v battery installed to insure that the breakaway switch works in case of hitch or other failure. This is probably required by regs somewhere.

Now that is a law, good point. Transporters have to install a battery to do the same thing per DOT rules.

battery

It seems that all 5th wheelers that responded say that 1 or more batteries were included. The dealer in Edmonton AB says they do not supply a battery.
Either way I bought a group 31 and had them install.
Sale price still seams good, even if I had to buy a battery.

That seems pretty dumb they don't supply one, but if it gives them a bad name, their choice. Some dealer's just want to make money where ever however they can, not worry about reputation, and some actually try to make their customers happy so they will be repeat customers, and actually make more money in the end.
