Just want to add, with emphasis, that a 2 year or 3 year warranty isn't worth much if you don't have a dealer or service writer who is customer service oriented. I have said it before, and will repeat: Find a service facility that does warranty work, where no RV sales are involved. They are around. Their bread and butter is in repairs, not in sales.

I store mine at one and although talking Keystone, the MGR. told me I'd have to pay extra everytime he did something vs. My dealer. Keystone has a set price on everything and expects it to be done at the exact #$....

I had a leak coming from water heater 2 weeks after purchase and he told me that it would prob cost me $95 because It would take at least an hour longer than what keystone would pay!??!

I've had all warranty work done at my dealer D&D RV and they've been great!!!

We are new to RVing and are looking to buy a 5th wheel. We have looked at Durango' and Montana. Does anyone know anything about the Durango?

I don't think there's one make or model out there that won't get bashed by somebody. With that being said...

Go out and explore at RV shows & exhibits, campground/campers are "sometimes" okay for info too, find somebody with your style and likes. First up will be the floorplan you desire, then widdle it out within with construction and options within that floorplan. Then, find a reputable dealer who sells it. The last part may be the toughest as a lot of BS is in the air when they know you are ready to buy.

Lots of luck, post up.

Here is a review from the May Trailer Life Magazine
A Touch of Gold - www.trailerlife.com

I own a 2018 KZ Durango Gold G384RLT have had it since March, and about 1500 miles under my belt with it, so far it has performed flawlessly. Initial build quality is/was better than the Montana it replaced and the Montana was pretty good. Dealer is the key to making it an excellent unit no matter how much you spend.

Going to be luck whatever is delivered. Buy the best you can afford as long as it has the floor plan that best suits you. Prior to delivery do a comprehensive inspection, look at EVERYTHING. Open cupboard doors, drawers, under the bed, etc. If you spot anything refuse to purchase unless fixed.

Too many issues - walk away. That is the big thing. You have to be prepared to walk away and they have to know you will. I talked to the dealer when we ordered and told him what I expected and what would happen. I am sure he dealt a bit tougher with me but they delivered a well set up 5er.

Had a few issues and the dealer was able to take care of them quickly.

I've only every read 1 post from a person bashing Northwood Silver Fox line?

In my books construction comes first. What good is a layout you like if is falls apart in 3 years.

If you don't fit in the shower or the bed is too short or there is no room for cooking the construction will not matter. It will seem to last forever.

Manufactures make more than 1 layout so after choosing a builder people can decided which layout suits them.

The only production trailer I would buy is an Arctic Fox. If they didn't have the layout then I'd go looking for well built used.

If you read the threads you will find there are no manufacturers who are not named without problems.

It may not always be the manufacturer but the user who does not read the manual.

If it is made by man it will have problems, period.
