I don't mind traveling to fond a dealer with a lot of new and slightly used 5th wheels. Anyone have any suggestions? I seem to keep finding way too many camping world's.......

With the internet and Google finding an RV or RV dealer is easier than ever. First do a search; RV dealer near me. Second look at RVT.com or RVtrander.com. Third look at facebook marketplace or Craigs list. There are plenty of overpriced RV's for sale.

Try PPL Motorhomes consignment. They have locations in Houston, Dallas area, San Antonio area and Floridia.

If CW has a unit you like work a deal! If they don’t get to a price/deal you want just walk away! Heck we dealt with two CWs to get our 5th wheel.
The unit was 250 miles away, we got the local CW take a deposit to hold until the weekend when we go see it. Sure they wanted us to sign the papers right then, we No way! Deposit yes, final contract No!
Once at the CW with the unit, negotiated on a couple issues and got the price we wanted, this was a used unit.
Had we not got the deal, or the unit had issues we didn’t like, we would have walked away!!

Go on the internet and visist dealers and look for the fifth wheel trailer you want. Even if it is at a dealer you do not want to purchase from shop around for the best price. That is what we did on our recent fifth wheel trailer purchase....we first saw one close to where we were camping then purchased it 400 miles away, for the inside color scheme we wanted and a better price/trade-in.

When we bought our 2021 Cougar we went to a CW and we looked at quite a few units but none of them filled our requirements length and weight-wise.
My wife had a couple of print-outs of exactly what she wanted and the salesman went above and beyond to find one. He found the exact model the wife was looking for in a neighboring state and had it shipped to their lot for free.
It was considered "used" but we bought it in Oct. of 2021 and was still like new. Plus we saved about $25k has we bought an actual new unit.

Also put me in for https://www.rvsforless.net/ on the east side of Knoxville.

The owner is a man of the utmost integrity, and all he only carries new and used fifth wheel trailers for the most part.

If you look at a map, Tennessee is easy to get to and in the middle of the country.

Check out Whiskey Mountain in Mesa, AZ or Rolling Retreats in Oklahoma. They both deal in used DRV Mobile Suites.
