Hey Joe & Annette, maybe you should ask Butch for a commision. Looks like you drummed up a lot of buisness for him by starting this thread.

Whole new rig...new truck, new 5ver Don't worry, it will look "broken in" soon enough. I fell in love with the Longhorn and the new HO CTD engine. Had to get a new 5ver to match But, yes, I tend to keep things looking as new as I can. Touch up paint and some elbow grease every spring. My old setup didn't look much more used than this one when I traded it off. Being retired gives me more time than I know what to do with... I wish

With this device mounted I would use my 22K Reese again. I've been using my original 15K Pro because I like the deadbolt latch. The 22K came on my truck when I purchased it in '05 but after 2 uses it had me so worried that I would mess up the latching procedure that I put my old hitch on. Thanks for the original post.

Yesterday I went over to the company that moved my hitch to the new truck last year to have some deflectors installed over my windows. They sell the B&W hitches like Webslave pictured. I showed them the latch and they were blown away! I hope they will contact Butch about becoming a dealer for them.

This looks like a good idea. I had a mishap in 2009 and dropped my camper on my truck. This would have saved me $$$ and pride. I will for sure order me one after the New Year. I talked to Butch and he is not sure if it will fit my 20k Reese hitch. Looking at the pictures my hitch looks just like his just a 20k not a 15k. I did send Butch some pictures of my hitch. He is on his way out of town and should let me know something after the New Year. Thanks for this post.

I have a 20k Reese hitch and it fits. I only dry fitted it but I see no problem. When I read your concerns I went out to the garage to double check and it fits nicely. I will be attaching it over Christmas vacation. Another thing I did was paint the jaws of the hitch white. It makes it real easy to visally check that the jaws are closed all the way.

I installed mine on a Husky hitch and it fit. I hope I never have to use it but then I hope I never have to use auto insurance either!
