I was addressing his concern on the rear axle load. I assumed it went without saying that is there was not sufficient clearance the trailer would need to be raised

I had the Correct Track II kit in stalled on my 5th wheel. It raised the rig 2". Currently on our first trip with kit on rig. So far so good. Seems be working great for me.

Be careful raising your trailer. My trailer from the factory is 13'6" high, the legal limit.

Why is that important? On my first trip out I got to a low bridge that was 13'8". That was a very slow and nervous 40 foot drive!

When I changed hitches, and went to an auto slider, once bolted in, it was 5" taller....raised pin box as high as it would go, then lowered truck.....sets level now, and didn't cost a dime.......this trailer has independent suspension, nso no axle flip and raising the trailer could of been done, but already pull'n a sail.....

The only solution that might work would be a lift kit for the trailer and i haven't decided to go there yet but iu appreciate all the feedback!

Our F-350, LB, CrewCab, 4WD, SRW, Diesel is 60 inches high at the tailgate. I also have a Arctic Fox 27-5 on order and the factory would not flip the axles on my build. In a week or so I will see how mine hooks up and rides. The new Fords, especially have gotten taller. Mine is 7'1" stock from the factory and will not fit in a "standard 7 foot garage.

With the 2" rise in height I am now at 13'-5", am ok.

It would be helpful if the original poster had said exactly how far out-of-level his 5th is. All previous responses have assumed that it is far enough out of level that something needs to be done about it. But maybe it's just fine as is.

I have a 2015 3/4 ton Chevy and my 5th-wheel tows slightly nose high. (If the nose was 1.5 inches lower, the trailer would be level.) I have no problems when towing, and I certainly would not consider going to the trouble of raising it 2 inches with a lift kit just so it would tow level.

Now that is a serious difference from my dually. I have a 2016 F350 4X4 Lariat Ultimate crewcab longbox DRW. Top of tailgate is 54.5 inches. Wow big difference from your SRW.

It's not just the level tow- it's about the disproportionate amount of weight you're putting on the axles of your trailer. That is why it's important to tow level.

I understand that, but there is a big difference in how much weight is shifted to the rear axle when the trailer is slightly nose high versus when it is seriously nose high. I don't know how much weight is shifted in my case, but I do view it as being only slightly nose high; thus, I doubt enough weight is shifted to exceed the weight rating of the rear axle.

Again, without knowing the specifics of the OP's situation, it is not possible to determine if action needs to be taken. (I'm assuming you are not saying that we must always tow exactly level.)
