My parents got a 32 ft camper had it going on the generator no problem trying to use the furnace. Following instructions on it led me to think the fuse was blown so I opened the panel up visually saw no fuses blown and saw the lights off. I shut the breakers off an tried them again things came on for 2 seconds and went out. Now the only thing that works with the generator is the AC the monitor over the stove has nothing either. I can unplug the generator and hook my truck into the front near the hitch and that will turn the lights on all the outlets work fridge will work and the monitor says the battery is charging but thats just from my truck the one in it is dead.

Some older converters won't operate to charge a totally dead battery .
Remove charge and test the battery or replace it with new and retest system operations.
Yeah, I agree with this as well. Batteries that are old or dry (low on water) will not charge or put out much if any voltage. Verify the battery cells have water, disconnect and charge the batteries separately with a good battery charger, then retest. Good Luck!
Everything was working fine from just the generator before the battery was even hooked up. I had the generator running at one point with the battery hooked up to see if it was charging said it was but it's 4 years old an toast so I disconnected it.
And plugging it into the house it just hums up towards the bedroom that's over the hitch but there's nothing I can visually see up there
The hum is the converter fan working. Like mentioned check replace battery as needed.
The converter can be located behind the storage wall, remove inside wall to get to it.

I’m not familiar with your 5th wheel but if it’s like mine, do you have storage up front under the bedroom?
The only storage is a semi big closet you can stand in the bed and a little closet next to it. I just don't get why my truck runs everything fine even without the battery hooked up but directly plugging it in the house won't do anything but buzz.

The fuse panel an breakers are in the back across from the stove. None of them kick off either
