Years ago I saw someone with a tonneau cover that had a snap or velcro secured flap so they could hook up their fiver. It only unzipped above the hitch& back towards the tailgate in the center. Anybody know of a brand or was this possibly homemade?

Miller Manufacturing in Missouri makes fiberglass toneau covers with hatches to remove to hookup and tow. The hatch over the hitch has a 'boot' which seals against the pin box for maximum weather resistance. Secure, quiet and aerodynamic both towing and not.

Can't remember what Forum it was on or the name of the company but i saw the same think as you are talking about, a canvas tonneau with a Velcro hatch. I remember the web site was an Arizona Company and they sold on the Web.

Try a Google search, it may pay off?

I have a hard folding tonneau cover installed. All I do is fold it up to the front and latch it down. When I disconnect the 5vr I just unfold it and lock my BIG A#$ trunk with the power tailgate lock I installed. works like a charm and I don't have to worry about the kids using their knives to cut hole in the tonneau.
