2016 models already have the new Lippert frame. This is why they have dropped all the models that had an entire length slide......Wait! You are talking Alpha Gold. I was talking Lifestyle. Sorry

I am wondering if the Alpha Gold line is being dropped. I just visited the website and all floorplans are "Dealer stock only"

It sure looks like the Alfa Gold brand is going away. Don't worry, this floor plan isn't, as its been moved to the Lifestyle brand as the LS395SH.
There still doesn't seem to be any good alternatives to this floor plan (short of custom made) from those that want to haul a motorcycle in their fifth wheel without giving up a normal living room.

This is interesting. I wonder if it will have the same frame as the Alfa? I read Evergreen has gone back to the Lippert frames for all their trailers. I also wonder if they are changing the name from Alfa as part of their consolidation plan? I hope they get a lot better with their quality control. It was horrible on the Alfa we have. It's too bad as we really like the layout. I imagine we are stuck with our Alfa unless we are willing to take a huge hit trading it as there are not a lot of them out there. The dealer we bought ours from has had two more on their lot for more than six months now.

The advantage of the Alfa was it was built in the wide body 102" old Carriage custom stacked box frame if I remember correctly. The upscale Life Style started out on the lower end 96" custom Cameo frame. So there must have been a power struggle when Evergreen started building Lifestyle / Alfa series.
Later the Life Style was switched to the 102" custom frame so there was overlap between Alfa and Life Style.
If they go to the Lippert frame they will become a 'run of the mill' 5th wheel.

Lippert only builds the frame to the Trailer manufacturer's specification. Don't blame Lippert, blame the trailer designer for weak frames. Lippert will build whatever the customer wants.

Augsta Luxe LF-42MG
So i have continued to research for a 5th wheel solution that is similar to the Alpha gold, as stated before we didnt like the finish and detail of the interiors of the alpha.
We have seen an Augsta Luxe and were W W impressed with the qulaity of the finishes, the details....and now they have a motortccyle slide option available.
I think our search is over...
If anyone wants to speak directly with Augusta, here is the info and attached is a floor plan.

After reading the previous posts...yes the Evergreen site shows all Alfa's as dealer stock only. Yes Evergreen has thought about doing the 3905SH in the Lifestyle units, however the Alfa Gold 3905 SH is built on the Titan Frame and the Lifestyle is not. Evergreen is now rethinking this change...so stay tuned. The problem was someone had a great idea but just adding this plan to the Lifestyle plans, and the Lifestyle is a very good...high quality unit...but they're not built on the Titan frame...oops...someone in their upper management didn't think that far ahead..So the Alfa may be around a little longer than you think. We have a TH, but good friends of ours bought the Alfa 3905SH and they love. Had a couple of issues with the shakedown when it was delivered but the issues were corrected by the dealer within 3 days and they haven't had any problems since. Not the quality of finishes that the Augusta Luxe has, but none the less...very comfortable...and about 15k-20k less than the Luxe...so everything is relative to what you want to spend.

The Grand Design 376TH seems quit intriguing for someone like me who wants a trailer first, and a garage second.

At first I didn't think my Goldwing would fit, but this video makes me wonder.

The name has been used for different products. If you're looking at a 2015-2016, these are very high end Lifestyle trailers with the handmade frame, Bigfoot levelers and tons of great features. These are actually one of the best fifth wheels made. They're changing in 2016 so make sure it's the right model year to get the good one.
