Almost there... Now it's either a Jayco Pinnacle or a Big Country

We found a Jayco dealer fairly close to home - whoo hoo! Looked at the Pinnacle today, and it's gorgeous! It's a little more expensive than the Big Country, but we've had a Jayco before and found the quality to be very good. Now it's up to my husband to go buy one of these babies, and he's down between these two brands. (We decided not to go with the Starcraft Lexion or the Grand Junction.) I'll be glad when this is over and we're just sitting back in our easy chairs! RV shopping is hard work!

Guess that should read, "He's narrowed it down to these two brands" - ha!

It's certainly your decision, but this may well be a case where you get what you pay for - is the quality worth the extra money? I would vote for the Jayco, but I'm probably biased since we've owned three (3), a Cardinal pop-up and two (2) Designer 5th wheels.

None of them are perfect, but sometimes it's a case of "Better the devil you know than the devil you don't know!"

We are now the proud owners of a Jayco Pinnacle! It's sitting in our driveway, and my husband has the biggest grin on his face. He's delighted with his new toy! (And I'm pretty pleased with the king size bed, and the cool sofa with a chaise lounge!) Thanks for your advice during our RV shopping!

I'll be looking for your pics in the New Rig Show-Off forum. The Pinnacle looked great on Jayco's website.
