I like not having a 5th wheel set up in the back of the truck but I question the quality of the unit. Mine has bubbling Paine all over and upon further investigation I see that they painted over unprepared steel with surface rust. No primer, just a very thin coating of paint over rust. I weigh Reese a letter and haven’t had the courtesy of a response. I also have a crack above the bedroom slide out and evidence of excessive flex, is this because of the goose box? I’m picking up a new 5th wheel tomorrow, I’m debating on whether to keep the goosebox or go with the 5th wheel set up.
