Atwood Landing Gear, need gear box

My Nuway Hitchhiker 5th wheel has an Atwood 75192 (Standard) electrict landing gear. The gear box started skipping (jumping) gears when raising the the 5th wheel. I cannot find a gear box that matches mine. Mine uses a round shaft and has holes for bolts to hold collar and cross shaft tube. Replacment ones I have found require a 1/2 flat shaft.

With the motor assembly and gearbox removed, I can manually lift and lower the 5th wheel using the handle.

Is there an adapter kit available to match mine to the newer model gearbox?

Or do I have to byte the bullet and install a heavy duty landing gear system.

Thanks for looking.

I'm not sure, as I've never had that problem.. Have you talked to anyone at Atwood yet?

Check on the NuWa ( Hitchhiker owners forum) This has been discussed many times or even call NuWa, they are very good about helping out.

I have ordered the next Atwood landing gear model up from mine. It is 75333 and the motor 75391. I priced 7 sources and bought from the one with lowest cost (both part numbers and shipping, tax). This landing gear is an upgrade and a better design. Thanks for the replies. Dave, Tucson, Az.
