Auto Leveler

Hi, I have a Lippert auto leveler.
Heading out today and my auto leveler isn't working properly. When I hit the on/off button, it lights up, even the little green dot in the middle of the diamond (that says it's level), that lights up, but the display where the words are even though it lights up there are no words. I hit the menu button and the up and down arrows for scrolling and nothing changes.
I do have the disc for this Lippert system, and I tried the "zero out", (pushing buttons 10 times), didn't change anything.

PLEASE HELP

Try unplugging the control box for a few minutes then plug back in. They will reset themselves if the controller is still good

Make sure your battery is fully charged.

What Shane said.

I had a similar problem recently. Called Lippert and they walked me through several fixes. The one that worked was pulling the two supply lines into the controller and waiting 10 minutes. Plugged back in and worked fine.

Did you contact Lippert? Please, let us know, if you got it fixed and what the solution was.

Thank you.

Update: It is weird. I hitched up yesterday and unhitched today. It is working, just still no words on LCD screen. I'm glad I know the procedure.

Just got to Vegas today and finally have phone coverage, so first going to try to unplug and plug back in, and if nothing works right, I will call.

Now that I will be sitting here for 3 weeks, I feel comfortable trying to reboot it.

Will keep you updated.

Auto Leveler

Well I unplugged and plugged back in, no go. Called Lippert and because I bought used=no warranty, even though it's a 2016, guess they got out of that one.
Bottomline, I will have to buy a new touchpad.

Thank you all anyway.

Good News.

Well I complained to Lippert that just because I bought used, it's still a 2016 and blah, blah, blah.

Anyway, finally they are standing behind their product and sending me a new touchpad.

As far as fixing it, all they said was unplug and plug back in, then after the tech support guy found out I bought it used he didn't want anything to do with me, it just really pissed me off. BUT they are making this right so I am extremely happy about this.

Do warranties not transfer on RVs like they do all other vehicles?

Some do, some don't..you have to look at the contract and the fine print.

I appreciate all the comments on this thread...I recently picked up my trailer after getting some warranty work done and of course the battery was low. Long story short, I ended up with false warnings on rear legs being down, etc.

I'm going to try to unplug idea soon!
