I have to add my vote to the 'gotta have it' side. We have a 41' New Horizons and it makes setup a breeze. Lower the front legs enough to unhitch, move the truck and then press the 'auto' button. It raises or drops the front legs based on the relative height compared to the wheels, levels the front legs side to side, then drops the back legs, levels front to back and then levels the back legs side to side. The odd time you need to manually adjust, like the site we are on now. On the PS of the rig, the ground slopes up a fair bit in the middle of the site so that the bottom step hits the ground. Raise all 4 legs and problem solved.

Yep, used to carry a small lumber yard with us, then upgraded our Montana by adding the level up system. Great, now have a Redwood that came withit standard. Wouldn't go back. Don't have to worry about those brain farts where you forget and put the boards under the wrong side (been there, done that). No need for JT's or any over type of stabilizer system. If going new, get it.

What happens if the remote or electric breaks on those? Can you still crank by hand?? Just wondering..

I think if you are talking about front legs only it's a waste of money. If it's the side to side as well then I want it too.

I would guess it depends on how level the spots you go are and how many times a year you're setting up.

We love our Bigfoot System for auto-leveling.

As I said I love our Big Foot but for us and our 38' triple slide Carriage we still needed stabilizers. We had them before we added the Big Foot system and while it did help some, I still had unwanted movement. Once we tightened the stabilizers we had no more movement.
It could depend on size, weight or model on whether the auto leveling system is enough. Di
