Auto Levelling overdoing it

Hey folks.

2022 KZ Durango 326RLT. Had it since new, in August 2023 and we are fulltiming since last July. On our way to Arizona and threw out the anchor today in Idaho.

Now the fun part. After unhooking the truck, I hit the auto level button and the thing had a mind of its own. Started to raise both sides, rear where the tires were off the ground. I reset everything manually, but the front Jack's don't want to lower.

Never had this before. Advice much appreciated.

Cheers
Keith

Same thing happened with my 2020 fifth wheel trailer with a Lippert Level Up controller. As a result, I would have to use the manual jack controller function to adjust the jacks and level the trailer. Eventually traded the trailer in for a new one. New trailer has a Lippert Ground Control 3.0 jack controller which is simpler and has worked flawlessly.

What level system do you have? Is it still under warranty?

It is a Lippert One Control. Can use the controls on the side of the rig, or my phone. Usually use the former, but had to redo with phone manually. Still under warranty so will contact dealer.

I have the Lippert Ground Control 2.0. There is an easy way to "reset " level position after manually leveling it. I'm sure yours has that feature too. Google it.

This is a easy way to reset the lever-up, first unplug from power and then take the ground off the battery, wait 60 seconds and hookup the ground post and add then hook up the 30amp or 60amp which ever your camper is. It works for me. When you take the unit off all power the unit will reset itself

if the ground is to unlevel it will do that, if it is so unlevel that it can't then it will error out. there is one place I go to where my door side tires are always off the ground a few inches.. I have complained to the campground saying they don't need a 8" drop to the side over a 8 foot span for water runoff but they don't care.

Lippert is having a lot of problems and complaints with their current leveling system. More so with the hydraulic than the electric versions.
Thanks,

Appreciate all the input, folks. Just landed in Baker, NV and same thing. When it first happened, we were on a concrete pad. This is a fairly level gravel area. I have sent an email to the service adviser so will see what he says. Will check the link, thanks. I did Google resetting but didn't find an answer that fit my problem.

You can call Lippert direct. They made it and know it. They also know there is an issue but do not have a good resolution yet. They have helped me twice though.

Firstly, many thanks to Hamm2018 for directions me to the Lippert link. After reading my specific One Control directions, I have won the Brain Fart of the month award. Was extending the front pin latch legs to far down, thereby giving no room for the front stabilizers to move up and down.

I hope wine helps a crappy memory. Thanks to all.

Cheers
Keith

oh I forgot all about that, took me a while to get good at guessing how far to drop the pinned part of the front legs. the more uneven the harder it is to guess, glad you figured it out though.
