Awesome 5th wheel

Was at our local camping world the other day and saw this new 5th wheel. I haven't seen one with 2 verandas before so I thought it was awesome of course. GVWR said 20k BTW.

Nice! Looks great for kids, pets, entertaining, etc. We camp in some small, older campgrounds and sometimes the ground at the back end drops away and lots of times under the awning there isn't much level ground for chairs. I think this would be great for those times. Also, for the rainy and muddy times this would keep the inside clean.

I forgot to look but I believe you're right on the model.

I told my dad this would be perfect for them but he doesn't want a MDT as a TV lol

I looked up the specs online. Why would they put (3) 6k axles on there when the GVWR is 20k?

Good luck with that slide lasting more than 20 extensions. Axles are at their limits but all units are built on the edge of destruction.
Look a a New Seasons 5th wheel and you will see quality.

Then there is less weight on the axles. Everything has a rating for manufacture including our homes. Nothing is over design as I have experienced.
Over design only causes other things or parts to be overloaded.

Sorry, I have not heard of that brand and a quick internet search didn't find it either.

Don't understand what this comment means. If you put 10k axles on this 5th wheel that would cause what problem? As an example are you saying that it is better to put on the minimum weight capacity tire versus a d,e,f,g,h rated tire because those optional tires have extra capacity and that would lead to problems? I can understand why we wouldn't want to add extra weight when it affects the load being carried but to increase the capacity to carry the load would seem to be advisable. Maybe someone will chime in on why this is an error in thinking.
