Its a 2013 Montana Big Sky 39fb. Truck and trailer weighs in at 28k lbs. I had previously installed Titan discs brakes so when replacing the axles, it was a simple disconnect of the hydraulic brake line. The Dexter axles came with Kodiak discs and I like them much better. They are bigger though (8k disc brakes).

Chances are that you have a Lippert frame & running gear. Chances are also that the frame & running gear is also built to minimum spec as set by the builder of the house ontop of that frame.

Get underneath & see where the weakest points are between the road & the house. Most likely will be the frame in the spring hanger area & springs barely rated for the max weight of the trailer.

Upgrading springs by adding another leaf is relatively easy & inexpensive. Upgrading the spring hanger area is not so easy or inexpensive.

There are a host of bolt on upgrades one can make however if that one weakest link is lurking in that chain of weight transfer from house to road is still there, that is where it will fail.

You can get the MorRyde IS out west also, at Hendersonís Line-Up in Grants Pass, OR but they are 1k more! You may spend that in gas driving to Indiana if youíre out West anyway! They are a great shop if you need work done in that area also!
