B&W companion hitch

I have a 2014 F250 with the turn over ball under bed mount. I am trying to decide if I need the slider with the B&W companion. Any experience out there?

Short bed or long bed? If you have a short bed I would recommend the slider. I love my B&W companion, I have a long bed so I have the standard hitch.

Short bed, yes - long bed, no. I have a 2000 F250 short bed and I put a Demco Autoslide in it. Great hitch...

I have a sb Gm truck and use the normal companion. It is set on the rearward most setting which is directly above the axle. I've never had any problems, due to I've only pulled the newer round cap 5ers that have a more extended pin box.
But I know you can turn 90, but personally I really don't like turning sharper than about 70 because of the added stress to tires, axles, wheels and suspension on a trailer when turning that sharp.

Good luck!! And I love my b&w companion!!

Most newer 5th wheels with the rounded caps are designed to be pulled with a short bed. B&W is the best hitch made, in my opinion, good choice!

I'm running the B&W Companion on my SB '14 Silverado (2500/Duramax) with a standard hitch. It's installed on the rearward most setting and centered vertical setting. I tow an '04 Carriage Cameo and haven't had a single issue with clearances. I can turn sharper than I like to put the truck through due to the stress on the suspension/drivetrain at extreme angles. I don't see you having a problem with a standard setup.
