Hmmmm, big/open ended question. Do you want one from a manufacturer that's still in business or not? Some of the best manufacturers have either closed or have been bought by another company & the product just isn't the same.

LOL, many are still in business. The best unit out there right now is an Arctic Fox made by Northwood MFG. If you want nicer then you'll have to spend $30,000 more.

Maddog we understand your interest but that is a pretty broad question. You may want to narrow it by identifying your needs and preferences. Are you full time or part time, mostly static or lots of traveling, budget range, tow capacity, floorplan preference (toy hauler, Bunkhouse, couples retreat), climate, etc.
Help us help you and you will get lots of great advice on this forums! Welcome to the RV life!!

+1 These are all very important considerations. Budget is probably the most important.

Hey I really liked the Arctic fox suggestion. Seriously, I have owned about 8 trailers over 40 years. I learned a lot by owning not so good units. The most important place to look, is underneath. Starting with heavy axles, shocks, 16" wheels , and a suspension with grease bolts. And then an oversize frame 12" or better to support the trailer. A lot of trailer flexing is because of inadequate size of the frame, and there really is no cure for it. Look under also to see what was used to seal the bottom. Was it just plastic sheeting or a heavy 1/4" plastic seal. Are the holding tanks heated, and enclosed as the drain valves to keep from freezing ? Does the front of the trailer have an aluminum gravel shield to protect the fiberglass from rocks? Is it generator ready? What are all the access doors made of, also the hinges and latches. Does it have a Fiberglass cap on the front and the rear? And does it have 30lb, or 40lb propane tanks, and and aux fitting outside for the camp stove? This is what I look at. Now the wife is a whole different story. Good luck Dave-R

Great: New Horizons and Space Craft
The mass manufactured RV's, like the vast majority, do not compare.
Most owners will claim theirs are the best.

Dave-R, I completely agree with your assessment of were to start looking for quality of construction. Once we got a little education about 5th wheels/travel trailers, the first place we looked was tires..... if it didn't have 16" wheels, we moved on. The frame/ axles/suspension is the cornerstone of trailer construction. You don't have that, you don't have much! memtb
