Well... Excuse me for my ignorance! Maybe, I'm naive when it comes to the math. I was just going by what the dealer in Nebraska told me about all of our issues. They claimed the Jayco family had pretty much bowed out and Thor Industries had taken over the company and were calling the shots. Maybe they knew something we didn't know, or maybe Thor, technically, did not finalize the deal until your suggested date. Who cares. Jayco had already gone down-hill in quality.

Either way... our 2015 Jayco Pinnacle was a piece of junk! Didn't I already say that? We had constant headaches from little items like screw, brads coming out, tires blowing because they were "E" rated and should have been at least "G's", kitchen slides hanging up and riping the vinyl up on the floor, auto leveling (electric) jacks not working... never worked after two controllers were replaced, refrigerator moisture on the outside of the refrigerator, carpet coming up, cupboard door not in alignment with screws missing, plumbing leaking everywhere, furniture (made by Jayco) falling apart, ceiling trim coming off... I'm not going to go on and on. Granted, some items were not manufactured by Jayco, but this unit was a real lemon. We had been loyal to Jayco for years and years and no more. The dealer was sick of seeing our RV come in for constant repairs and I'm sure sick of seeing us, but regardless we're done with Jayco and the dealership.

Is there anything else you want to correct me on, or does it really make a difference? I was just voicing my opinion and going by word of mouth. Next time, I'll try to do better educating myself before posting my opinion.

Jayco

They are only a small step above the Solitude and are not even close to top of the line.

And as far as Vanleigh going above and beyound for us... THEY HAVE! Should I say 500% or more. A heck of a lot more then Jayco/Thor did. Not once have they ever asked us for pictures and then came up with excuses as to why they could or would not be responsible for fixing any particular item.

Certain people really irritate me, too! I do care what other people say and there are many Vanleigh customers that feel the same way that I do. So, with that said, I don't care what you've heard about your so called bashings.

And where does it say, I'm not being truthful?

Well, I would start with 2015 vs. 2016. Not saying you weren’t truthful, however the math does not support your answer.

My self, I have a 2013 Crossroads Jefferson. All I can say is stay away from Crossroads product...
I second the opinion on Crossroads. I had one and you could not give me a free one again.

rvp986 you can say what you want about Van Leigh standing behind their product. You stated they furnished the parts and you did the repairs yourself. This is well and good for a couple times but you indicate many times. My time is valuable, is your not? You are saving the company hundreds of dollars of warranty work. Also another thing. If it is such a good product there should not need to be nearly as many repairs as you have indicated with a brand new product. If you bought a new car would you be happy to have dozens of times it had to have repairs?

I like the grand design, but the dealership was a bust. We ended up with an open range 319 light. So far it's been a great trailer lots of space inside. God-bless your travels.
