Best Price on a 2021 Solitude 390RK

Just trying to figure out what is an average discount we can expect off of the MSRP from an RV dealership carrying the Grand Design product line.

We are going to purchase the 390RK, ideally from Bretz RV in Boise, but they are being difficult and giving us an extremely conflicting business practice that is questionable.

Would love to have feedback on what you paid for the unit and what we can expect to potentially pay for our 390RK

I would expect at least 30% off MSRP since the 2022 models will be out in a couple weeks. I've ordered three Grand Design 5th wheels and got about 30% off MSRP on all of them.

I think in the current market 30% off is off the table for now. Just finding the model you want is tricky now, and the dealers know it. Hope it works out for you.

Seeing as how you've changed your minds on what you are purchasing, you may want to go over to the other thread that you started about purchasing a diesel pusher and let those kind folks know to quite wasting their time answering your questions.

I keep hearing it is hard to get 30% off in this market but I have had no problems getting that on any new inventory Grand Designs or new orders as we worked through purchasing in the months of Jan and Feb of this year. We did work with Bretz and they are stiff on their pricing but will match when you come with a competitor that has got there. We decided to go a different direction than GD but working with four GD dealers we hit %30 off MSRP every time easily.

I’m currently getting 24% off of a reflection. Doesn’t seem like they are going lower.

If you haven't committed with that deal you might want to shop around. We were first looking at another GD and worked with several dealers both in and out of our area and easily got to 30% off MSRP. We got just above 30% pre covid which allowed us to sell our fifth wheel in December 2020 for what we paid.

With what we were seeing on Facebook and other groups in regards to a sellers market and limited inventory we were apprehensive with ability to get a deal but have had no problems in negotiating. I really feel that the dealers are telling people there isn't movement in pricing and inventory problems as it works best for them.
