I would not run those tires as they are not all-steel but have two nylon belts in them. Sounds like they are made in China, too. After running the 14 ply 901's, I will never go back to a lighter tire. They pull great and run cool to the touch (relatively speaking) - even in TX in 100 degree weather.

It's not worth saving a few $ on a set of tires to go lighter. The first time you have a tire issue, you will forget alllllllllllllllllllllll about that money you "saved". Also, you can consider the "80" series tire - ST235/80R16/14 ply - if it gets you a better deal or availabilty
