I was just getting my '04 Prowler ready for the summer. When I got into it I noticed that some of the ceiling panels have black streaks through them. There is no sign of any water damage, or leaks from above. Has anyone seen something like this? The vinyl has curled at some of the seems on the ceiling as well. I purchased this with a 2 year warranty so its back at the dealer right now.
They have no answers, they took pictures and have emailed them to Fleetwood. They questioned whether the trailer was kept covered, which it is, but with one of the breathable fabric covers.
Any insight would be great.

I didn't and don't have any black streaks inside, but the ceiling material in mine (see sig) did the same thing. Dealer replaced the seam strips with wider ones under warranty, but it's doing it again. No explanation why it occurred. Good luck. Fleetwood was slow to respond to dealer's requests, but eventually all my issues had been taken care of while under warranty. There are still some issues that we're watching. Was told by dealer that since they happened while under warranty and work had been done, if they should happen again, they're covered.

I'll venture a guess, moisture! If you closed your RV up tight, the normal heating and cooling temperatures will cause moisture to form on everything inside. I either leave a vent open slightly or place a few packs of "Damprid" inside before covering the RV. Once I traveled through a drastic temperature change in about 50 miles. I left freezing temps and an hour later I was in 60* weather. I stopped a short time later and when I opened the door everything inside was dripping wet. Water was even running down the walls. Either allow the RV to breathe or use something to eliminate the moisture. Some use a dehumidifier, some like me use a desiccant, and some avoid the issue by following warm weather.

It's not just Fleetwood, I have a 03 Coachman Summerset Fifth Whell, that has been doing the same thing since we owned it. The streaks of darkness seem to follow the roof trusses going across. They are not on all of them but just some of them. We vacume it and it seems to help but not completely remove them. I think it is a little moisture building up where air can not get to from above the material. It is not bad enough to get all up set over but does make you wonder whats going on.
