Don't know what the weather is where you are, but it could be frozen

Sometimes it is best to hire someone to do the repairs and this maybe one of them.

Just saying.

It could be the valve as well and not the cable. If it is below freezing, the valve may be frozen.

See if you can peel the underbelly back and get a look at the cable. Nearly two years after we bought our previous rig, the same thing happened. Turned out the installer had u-turned the cable to where it finally kinked. Had to pull it and reroute. No more issues.

Thank you all for your response, I am seeking professional help, the underbelly will have to be opened to check cable, my problem is finding a mobile rv service to come and fix it!!

Could be an easy fix. The cables are held in place with an Allen style set screw. Sometimes these can become loose and allow the cable to pull out.
One method to access the valve body is to cut a 3-sided hinged panel, hinged to the front of the rig, check the set screw.
Once done, tape up the access panel with Gorilla tape.

Use an inspection camera to find the valve body before cutting open the panel.
