Brand New Dometic Furnace Issued

New Furnace Issues// 3 flashes error code behind furnace cover on circuit board.Only cold air would blow and no attempt at ignition of propane occurred .Got an extra small Phillips (star shape) screwdriver and pulled out Sail Switch off blower cover.Lint had built up on ‘windward’ side.Removed ,reinstalled and poof....heat again.Lint was about the size of 3 wooden match sticks or less.

First day after installation and furnace was wonderful.Second day error code 3 flashes.Quite soon after my shower, over top of furnace, the Wiring to circuit board had to be brushed up and greased.Furnace ran great after that.

I think he meant that the connections needed cleaned up and dielectric grease applied.

Ordinary axle grease according to RV Tec is as good as dielectric grease.Yes Connectionís either came corroded as it made a Coast to Coast USA trip, then up to Canada as it was a back order direct from factory or it was my plumbing or both ,who knows.Too much corrosion for circuit board.

Phillips screwdriver we used to call star shaped ,old school I guess, not torx.
