Although Excel is an excellent unit I don't believe it competes with the three listed. Does not cost as much either.

Excel be Peterson industries. Hubby full timed for close to 7years working throughout the country. Rated to very cold weather!

The Custom Rigs are probably the best. Spacecraft, New Horizons, and Continental Coach.
Next are Peterson RV, DRV.

I suggest you look at DRV spec
There not quite as expensive as the custom coaches mention but better then Excel and all the rest...DRV spec sheet will answer you question...

We will see how DRV stacks up after a few years under the Thor umbrella. Be glad you got a pre-Thor model.

We full timed in a 2006 Mobile Suites. Cold and drafty. Their insulation will drop down, ours did. Also areas with no insulation. Now have a unit with Dow blue foam laminated. Easy to cool/heat and no drafts. 3' wool insulation sounds great. Not so great in the real world. I would not put them above an Excel.

I started my order process the day it was announced. I was at RollingRetreats when ordering our new 39TKSB3.
