Camera wiring in the bow
I’m brand new to a 5th wheel after a life time of bumper pull trailers. love it! I’m running the wires for the Ford camera and tire pressure monitors. I’ve placed the backup camera and run it’s wire up to the 5th wheel front compartment. I’m trying to figure out how to run the wire-harness up under the bow, dropping down near the coach wiring that connects to the truck. I can’t find anyone who has done this already, nor any cutaway views that show what’s behind skin layer of the bow. Any help or points would be appreciated!

On mine, there's plenty of clearance behind the front cap to run a bunch of wiring......use a fish tape......I've run a few wires and a couple coax cables from the pin box up into the overhangs floor and brought them out into the front storage area.....just gotta get creative and seal stuff up when you wires pulled...

I did that on last rig (2009 Bighorn) and used a ground wire from the trailer J-box r that ran back into the front storage compartment

Rest of the story...I fished a new ground back in with the cable from the camera system.

Thanks for the help. The challenge was the skin under the floor joists was so tight I could not pull the wire through into the front bay. (I got within about 8 inches, but the placement of joists and metal beams made it exceedingly tight...) Back to the drawing board...

For the skin under the nose, I removed the screws and let the metal sag while fishing the wire around. When done just replace the screws.

Have you tried determining if any of wires in the jbox at the pinbox location head into the front storage, and if any are movable (not stapled). If there were, you could use one as a pull wire and fish the cam cable and a replacement for the pull wire. Just a thought.
