I shoot for 35% off MSRP and have been successful ... helped my Daughter and Son N Law buy a last year model for 42% off. Will definitely walk on anything less than 30% ... they will call you in a day or two, but you have to be patient.

negotiate if necessary

We bought a new 2017 Cardinal 3950TZ loaded with many of available options. MSRP was about $119K. I wanted to upgrade tires to 614Gs and swap out water heater for on-demand unit. Trailer was also painted so no decals. Dealer took paint job off ($11,000) threw in changes I wanted (approx. $3500) and gave us the discount normally associated with RV purchases. Bottom line was $77500. I was satisfied and didn't feel necessary to negotiate more.

If I had any complaint on anything it was my experience with Coach-Net. On bringing unit home we found a hydraulic leak. I communicated this and was told to call a place which did Coach-Net road service. My concern was safety of unit to repair facility since local dealers wouldn't touch it timely or at all if they didn't sell then line. Road service would come out for $200 cash up front. I paid and they were here 5 minutes to tell me they could not fix it and it would have to go to a dealer, but it was safe to drive. Forest River would not reimburse the $200 as they don't cover cost of diagnosis. How do you fix problem without a diagnosis??? I did get $95 good will money.

No other problems to date and planning this years trips at this time.

Start about 35% to 40% below. This is a higher markup item than cars. Expect at least a 25% off deal.

Absolutely. Just bought my Grand Design 377MBS. 30 Percent off MSRP.
