Carpet removal on 05 Everest 363k

Looking to remove carpet on my trailer in the bedroom especially. There is a slide and am afraid to miss with the dynamics of it. Any advise is appreciated.

Are you wanting to get rid of the carpet or replace it?

Slides are not a mystery.

It's less trouble to pull them out and get it out of the way than it is to try and fight working around it.

I like repairs to look as unrepaired as possible, so I would also pull the cabinets out also.
