Question Cat Access From 5th Wheel

I know. I know...

My wife wants a 5th wheel that has easy access from the trailer to the truck cab so they can visit, see out the front, etc as we purr along the highways. Anyone solve this problem with a cutout or passthru style of arrangement or know of a solution?

Pickup camper. Leave the cats with the kids.

Pick up camper or motor home are your only options.

This has got to be a scam. Nothing else can explain it.

Except a truthful post. Anyone have a solution?

I recently saw a Keystone 5th with a removable window in the truck cab and a prefabricated 'tunnel' of some sorts, didn't get to see the workings but that is what drew the scam-question.

I'm reasonably sure that I saw a 5ver with an upstairs kitchen with a window by the dinette recently. Don't remember where though. Old age! No access. Just a view.

A motorhome would be your best bet...

It almost sounds like you want to put the cats in the 5-r while traveling yet give them a way to get to the truck that's towing it, is that correct? That's not a wise choice. Never put anything living in something you're towing (unless it's horses/cows/pigs/sheep in a farm trailer).

If you want your kitties in an RV with you while motoring down the freeway, get a Class A, B or C.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.

I think you could bore a 8" hole in the lower front of the 5ver and run a heavy duty flexible tube to the sliding window on the truck. It would work great, until it suddenly didn't.

Best to change RV'S rather than rig some sort of flexible tunnel thing. All might be fine until Pamper tries coming on board during a turn. The divorce might be final then.
