During our series of 2+ inch rainstorms last month, my trailer sprung a leak around the bathroom vent. It's bean resealed but I now have a brown stain on the white fabric ceiling.
Any suggestions on how to remove it?

Thanks, Bill

I have had excellent results using a carpet stain remover called Spot Shot. Removed the water stain without a trace.

Did you simply recaulk the vent, or did you remove the vent and make sure that the insulation was dry? If you got enough water to stain the ceiling you've probably got some moisture up between the ceiling and roof - that'll need to be addressed before you can successfully eliminate the stain.

Nope Allan, I checked the insulation after I resealed the vent and its dry. The stain is from the backer board for the ceiling. Its not warped or wet now but some of the brown has bled through onto the white ceiling fabric and I'd like to get it clean.

Thanks, Bill

Make up a strong Oxyclean solution in a spray bottle. Spray an area of about two square inches at a time, and immediately suck the liquid out with a wet/dry vac or carpet cleaning machine hand nozzle. Worked for me on a severe stain around my satellite dish mounting that I let go too long without sealing.
