I can really understand wanting your own Washer/Dryer if you full time. I'd look seriously at the AF 29-5T. It is 34'7" and tows well with a one ton SRW diesel.

Have you considered a Solitude 310GK?
Very similar to the2930RL but with W/D hookup.

Yes, I think we are going to see one this weekend. Do you think this is constructed better then the 2930RL? Both have WD hook up. The 2930RL has it in the Kitchen and the 310Gk has it in the front closet.

Odds are the construction will be very similar since they are both Grand Design units, probably made by the same workers. You can compare the frame size and axle ratings to be sure.

If you are purchasing new, it's important to buy a unit rated for full-time living. The Solitude is. Many manufacturers will not honor the warranty if you are full-time.
Grand Design will also allow you to use a mobile tech for warranty repairs. Very convenient if you are not near a dealer.
We stayed in our 310gk in Illinois, in February, when it was 19 F, and it was very comfortable.

The 2930 is what they call or called the S-Class. It has electric leveling, the 310GK has hydraulic. The 310GK also has the central vac. The 2930 has the big front window over the bed, the 310GK has a smaller window over the bed and two side windows in that slide for the bed.
One of the things I love in our 310GK is the living room TV hides away and has a big window. Great to enjoy the outdoor views from some of our camping spots.
The deal killer for me in the 2930 was I could not see myself in the bathroom mirror without bending down. That vanity is in the slide and is too short for me.
Best regards,
Chris

Thanks Chris, those are some good points. We are going to look at a 2930rl tomorrow. I'll check the bathroom mirror.

It’s been a couple of years since we looked at A Grand Design unit, but I recall that some of their models had hide-a-beds that were suitable only for children. If this matters to you, be sure to open them up and see how far they extend.
