Coachmen Brookstone

We are looking a Brookstone 5er for when we retire and go full time. Would appreciate comments for current Brookstone owners.

Howdy, we don't own a Brookstone, but the ones we looked at I do no believe are classified as a true full time RV. You might want to see wht is in the coachman warranty regarding full time use.

We have been in ours since last July. It may not be classified as a fulltime 5er but it works very well for us. We don't stay in many regular campgrounds because we are members of Campers On Mission through which we go throughout the southeast building churches, working on christian conference centers, children's homes and other christian facilities that furnish us campsites for free.
We love our 367RL.

Most 5th wheel manufacturers will not come out and state that it's okay to use their rig for full timing...although many RVers do. Some will say it voids the warranty.

We've had our Brookstone 367 RL since January, and love it. Although took it out last week and developed a water leak behind the panels outside. Its being repaired right now, but should be an easy fix. Been very pleased with most everything so far. LOVE this floorplan! Love the king bed...but do miss a little more floor room in the bedroom that we had before in our MH with a queen bed. 2 things the manufacturer is working on..they neglected to add the little nightstand "ledges" next to each side of the bed, and one of the night shades in the bedroom doesn't come down quite all the way to the bottom of the window like the other one does. Aside from those small things...it all works beautifully, am very pleased.

Unhappy Brookstone 366RE 2011

We have had our 2011 Brookstone 366RE for just over two months. I love the floorplan but be have had lots of problems. The shower leaked in 3 spots so my hubby sealed it again. The bathroom faucet hot handle squeaks really bad but was replaced by warranty. The slide in the kitchen mars the floor, the fantastic fan is really noisy, the closet pole fell down on the first ride, the rear window leaks, & the carpet is very thin. The TV top corian in the rear rubs the shades when going up and down, the slide out remote eats batteries so I have to put new ones in it each time. The kitchen sink drain is higher than around it so all the water doesn't drain well. This is bad when you pour coffee as you use a lot of water to flush and not stain your new sink. Make sure all your cabinet doors are closed before moving slide outs. Hard to do sometimes and I broke the molding on the kitchen slide. On the good side, my warranty guy has really helped me to get these items fixed but we repaired most on our own. He is sometimes slow to respond but so far so good.

We live in our 5th wheel almost full time and the warranty is void if you do live in it full time so we stay a couple weeks at friends houses.

We have been staying in an RV park and have had other Brookstone owners talk to us. Unfortunately, most have had nothing but problems. One couple from Canada is selling theirs after just a year as they think theirs is a lemon. I was hoping this RV would be our last for awhile but if we have more problems, we might trade her in. I thought I did enough research but I guess I didn't. Which is the best RV for "almost" full timing?
