Coachmen Chaparral 336tsik

I'm looking at buying a new coachmen chaparral 336tsik. Anyone have any suggestions. Pros.... Cons..... any information or personal experience would help.
Thanks

My opinion of the Coachmen Chaparral line is that they are middle of the road brand. They certainly aren’t overbuilt, but aren’t as flimsy as some “half-ton towable“ 5ers I’ve seen. Other than Adzel siding, they pretty much use the same parts as everyone else.

We have a 2019 Coachmen Chaparral 298RLS, with which we have gone on 2 long trips and 1 short one. We’ve had it about 14 months now.
We brought our 5er back to the dealer for a half dozen minor repairs under warranty. The only major problem we’ve had thus far is a massive failure of one of the Dexter electric brakes on a recent trip. This was not Coachmen’s fault, but a lack of quality control on Dexter’s part.
Upgrades that I am currently considering include adding shocks and disc brakes. I can’t recall the name of the tires that came on our trailer, but I know they were a Chinese brand of which I had never heard. They will be switched out before our next long trip.
Would I buy another Coachmen 5er? Probably, but I would also consider other manufacturers as well. We bought ours from Wana RV in Shipshewana, Indiana. If you don’t mind driving to pick it up, they have great prices.
I hope this helps. Good luck on your decision.

no complaints

We've had our 336tsik for about a year now. Have over 10,000 miles on it and couldn't be happier. No issues and no returns for any warranty work. Have had the occasional loose trim and missing screws but take care of that myself. I agree it's a middle of the road 5er, but its exceeded our expectations. We love the layout and seems to be very well built and insulated. Heating and AC have preformed excellent in mid-upper 90s or sub freezing. It did come with Constancy brand tires. I'll probably replace them later this year with GY's, but I check pressure and condition frequently and have had no issues.

We have one and love it. We had very minor issues over the year we own it.
Until the main a/c died, but Coach-Net found a rv repair shop about 90 miles from us that had our a/c replaced with a new one in a week!

According to the spec sheet the cargo weight is only 1480 pounds, is that correct?? We too like the floorplan but that isn't much cargo.
