here in Michigan we leave in December this year when we headed out it was 3 below.
here are the issues we have had.
slides were no issues except to bring them in if snow/rain is near. first year we packed up leaving the slides out and when it snowed I had to get up on a ladder to knock the snow off. well under the snow was 2 inches of ice that I had to scrape off not fun. after getting everything cleaned up slides worked good.
hydraulic leveling system kept timing out because the fluid was to cold took about 20 minutes to retract all the jacks. later learned there is an additive to the fluid for colder climates, I have not tried that yet. funny how the hydraulic slides had no issue though.
we kept it winterized till we got to our destination in AZ. on the travels we just used bottled water for cooking, drinking and bathroom. no issues there either.
tying up at night took a long time to knock the chill off in the 5th wheel though.
its all pretty easy once you get used to it.
good luck
