Considering a Weekend Warrior

Hey guys....

I haven't been here in a while.*

I still have my trusty 96 28' Automate, but Im considering purchasing a 3905 series WW...mainly because of its capacity.

Besides toys, I plan on using it to haul small to medium sized cars as well.

Does anyone known of any known issues with these trailers from say the 2004 to 2008 range ??

welcome back.....lots of issues during those and previous years.
Google it and there is tons of videos and articles written about frame issues and other things.
My buddy had one that the frame broke and cost him $$ to repair.

Ok....

So far Ive read about a Major Law suit regarding the "Pull trailers"...with bad frames.

My search continues to find 5th wheel frame issues.

Generally cars have low ground clearance. Toyhaulers have steep ramp angles, the geometry might not work. Toyhaulers have low payload, you may only have 4k# payload...this includes water, food, cloths etc.

They are not car haulers and barely hold up as just a rv. My 2 cents.

Im aware of ground clearance.

I have a simple fix for ramp....fold out extension like an enclosed....

Depending of size of trailer and it existing load....some can have payload close to 6k

I wasnt planning on hauling anything close to that like a new vehicle....a light weight classic is all that Im concerned about.

But your $.02 is greatly appreciated...as this is why I posted this question....thank you
