First you need to set a budget and see what 5th wheel will fit into your budget needs. There are models of 5th wheels that are an excellent trailer made by the same manufactures who make mid-price and lower budget models. They all have there good points and some issues since they are built by people and not machines.
Now Heartland make some great 5ers such as Landmark, Bighorn and so forth. Forest River makes some great units also such as Cedar Creek, Cardinal and Riverstone. I have own three different 5er's one manufacture is out of business. One was made by Keystone a Cougar (never again) and the last one is a Forest River Cedar Creek. By far this is the best unit we have owned and have had excellent support from the folks at Cedar Creek.
I am just saying make a list of your wants and needs then see what models fall into your requirements. Another item is the dealer you are dealing with see what reviews that have been posted on the dealer. This makes a world of difference in the ownership of any trailer.
