Custom Fifth Wheel manufactures
I would like to know some names and website links to custom RV/Fifth Wheel manufactures. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You in advance.

I saw one of these in a campground last week. I was curious so I looked up the manufacturer to see what it was. I have no other experience with them.

Spacecraft
New Horizons
are the main players today in the custom 5th-wheel market.

Forks RV, if still in business builds the 5th wheel "Continental".
So to me there are:
1. SpaceCraft
2. New Horizons
3. Forks RV
But close to custom is the Luxe.

If they are in the Elkhart area they are not custom builders. Custom means that they build each unit for the individual person. The frame is custom for each unit. The layout is what you want. The quality is superior. The finish is superior. The cost is greater. The weight is much greater. You need a bigger truck.
Just for fun go to both New Horizons and Spacecraft sites to see what real quality is. You will be able to see in depth videos on what good quality construction is.
So just for fun go the the website for Newell and look at their P50 class A. I know you don’t want this but it will give you a great idea of what is possible. Of course I couldn’t afford it but I love the construction and quality.
The current state of RV manufacturing in this country is very poor. They can and must be better.
I’m glad to see someone who thinks like I do.

I’ve looked both the SpaceCraft website and the New Horizons and discussed a unit with Spacecraft. I have not talked with New Horizons but will. I have also looked closely at the Newal coaches before I purchased my CC but like you said they are pricey and definitely not in my budget. My issue is I like the Class A but as well as a lot of the features. Mine is missing a lot of the new tech that the newer coaches have but no emissions either. There are locations we like to go that are pretty tight for our 45’ Class A that were a bit easier when we had our 43’ Cyclone. I’m really going to mis not having my Jeep too. Trying weigh all my options and keep myself as well as my spouse happy, not sure that is possible though. Will see! I have looked at some of the off the shelf toy hauler Fifth Wheel and don’t care much for them. I will keep looking and maybe someone will throw out sometime missing. Thanks for the feedback. Please keep it coming.

Can you tell me more about your switch to a Fifth Wheel and what you purchased? Type, size, amenities?
