Recently experienced FULL TRAILER BRAKE LOCK pulling 40ft 5th wheel coming to a slow stop, which was not fun. Finally traced problem to Brake Module in 2011, 2500 Dodge RAM. Replaced with new module and indicator shows "Problem with Brake Wiring Harness" even though 5th wheel not attached. Any suggestions?

Buy a DirectLink controller. The factory RAM controllers are just OK thru 2011. 2012 they stepped them up, I installed a MaxBrake on my 2011 and it was the best controller I have used including the current 15 RAM controller that is very good.
