I believe it probably has something to do with the state DRV and the sale!

The Mor/Ryde on our 2013 5er has been trouble free so far. We are heavy, but NuWa, put three 7000# rated axles under this 19000# trailer.

Makes me wonder if DRV stuck the right weight shear rubber under the trailer. I'd go back to DRV as they supplied a complete trailer. Ask them for a build sheet and then check with Mor/Ryde to see that the right springs are under the trailer.

I have heard from various DRV owners that since Thor bought them, customer service has gone to pot.

Yes. The industry has consolidated and the remaining three manufacturers now have carte blanche. They can manufacture whatever quality they want and sell it for whatever they want, unrestricted by anything more than minimal standards in quality and NONE in customer service.

Any expectation of quality is unrealistic. They will work with a few people to have some "feel good" stories out there, but the rest of us are on our own with poorly designed and manufactured expensive units and no one to provide the care and feeding they need.

I am a tool guy, I deal with the problems myself, and accept the fact that it's a piece of crap. Keep it going with some of my labor and parts and enjoy it, fully expecting it will go in a landfill in another 10 or so years.
