E Bikes

Do any of you use an E-bike while RVing ?

My wife and I are going to be using a pair of 20" ebikes. We like to take in as much of the area around where we camp as we can and at 69 I am not up for a LONG walk out and back. With the ebikes we are getting, you have 3 ways to operate them.
#1 manual, you use it like a normal bike.

#2 assist mode, you still pedal but the bike will help.

#3 full electric with a hand throttle.

WE plan on using mode 1 most of the time but after long ride out the assist would be welcome on the way back

For anyone interested in Washington state law for e-bikes
Here's what you need to know about Washington’s new e-bike law - Washington BikesWashington Bikes

As far as I know the federal is about the same.

We purchased ebikes last year and love them. They help us to go farther than we would otherwise. We used to ride regular bikes a lot but got to the point of wasn't fun any more (the bodies just couldn't do it for long). With the ebikes, it's back to fun. I use the low level pedal assist ( My bike has 3 levels of assist) and that's normally enough. But on occasion, I do need a bit more help getting back.
