Ems-pt50c

Is this a good surge protector? I need/want surge protection plus low and high voltage protection...any suggestions other than the EMS-PT50C. Really don't want to hardwire anything.<br />

Thanks!

We have had one for many years. The portable one. Works fine and excellent warranty/customer service.

It was one of the first things I bought when I got my Dutch Star. It has saved me several times from 'bad' power pedestals. I bought the portable, as I didn't have a lot of room in the power bay. Plus if it were to ever go bad it would be simple to send back. I've had it for 7 years and never had to return it yet. I do like their lifetime warranty.
You'll be glad you decided on this unit. ( I hate to sound like a commercial).

I have the hard-wired unit--installed it myself, has the remote readout in the electronics closet. It works fine, has alerted me to several low-voltage supplies. Also use the readout to measure the amp draw of various appliances when turned on, and which leg the draw is on.
