I just noticed that the windows in both entry doors have shifted and left open gaps. Actually can put my finger through. I know the trim around the windows screw on and looks like they remove easily. It's raining today, so not soomething I'm going to run and do today. Has anyone ever had to remove the trim and noticed how the windows are mounted/secured? From the outside, it looks like the seal or caulking has dried out. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
It's always something.

The glass is clamped between the two flanges. Loosen the flange and shift the glass up - it's easy. Next time I do it I might try the butyl sealant rather than the foam that's in there now.

Hello David,

I had this problem and repaired it the way Greenie suggests, but it didn't hold. I finally disassembled the whole window, and found there are little glass-holder nubbins molded into the plastic, but they were broken off (maybe because of cross-country and back on I-40?). The first thing I found that looked like it would fit was an old wooden spring-type clothespin. I fastened half of the clthespin (epoxy? don't remember now) to the bottom part of the window frame to support the glass, and it has held for quite a while now.

The main idea is to put something in there to replace the original moldings to support the glass.

Hope this helps,
Ralph
