I am not familiar with Crossroads, but am on our second Forest River Product. I am sold on Forest River. Our previous trailer was a Rockwood ultra lite. The only problem we had were loose water fittings, of whitch one came loose during a camping trip. Tightened everything up and no more problems. We had 2 small stress cracks develop in the filon fiberglass sides at the corner of storage doors after about 2 years of use. Eveb though it was well out of warrenty, Forest River working with the dealership agreed that "This should not happen on a 2 year old trailer" and told us if we wanted to have it repaired, the dealer could send it to the factory for repairs at no cost to me. We now have had our Wildcat for a year and no problems except for a defective water valve on the toilet. The dealer shipped me a new valve right away. My experiance with Forest River has been nothing except excellent. Great products and went above and beyond on customer service.
