Floorplan bed in the BACK

Are there any disadvantages to having the bed located in the rear of a fifth wheel? Frame stress, towing differences, weight differences? Not many floor plans have it, and it seems like it would be just as desirable as any. The living room still has plenty of headroom and the bed has a much larger window.

I have a 2012 39' Open Range 386FLR (Front Living Room) model with the bedroom and bathroom in the rear. We always try to get a spot on the outside of the RV park because we like the view out of the large rear window. For our model, it allows for lots more storage under the bedroom which helps to give us a massive amount fo total storage room. We're not aware of any drawbacks to having the bedroom in the rear.

There are a few manufacturers that build a front LR 5er. While it looks neat, the ones we have looked at are generally shorted on storage and cabinets. Make sure it has sufficient storage in the bedroom, kitchen and LR.
